A particular emphasis of the Paxville Community Development Corporation is focused upon highlighting and increasing the
reading and comprehension levels of both its’ youth and adult program participants. Included within this context are life skills, general work employability skills, career counseling, drop-out prevention, entrepreneurial training and youth leadership programs. All of these programs are linked to the utilization of technology in their application.
Thorough the workforce and technology center, Paxville CDC provides the citizens of Paxville and surrounding areas with work skills built on the use of new technologies.
Adult Workforce Development
The PCDC assists adult job seekers with a complete array of work preparation services including General Education Degree (GED) preparation, job search workshops, referral assistance, and computer skills training workshops.
